Summary In English
This is the poem of a child who lives in a little red-coloured house. The child always remains happy. She laughs and play for the whole day. She never cries. There is a green tree near the child’s house which saves the child from the heat of the sun and the child sits under this green tree after she finishes her play.

Hindi Translation Of The Poem

1. My house is red – a little house;
A happy child am I.
I laugh and play the whole day long,
I hardly ever cry.

मेरा लाल रंग का एक छोटा-सा घर हैं।
मैं खुश रहने वाली बच्ची हूँ।
मैं पूरे दिन हँसती-खेलती रहती हैं।
में रोदी बहुत कम हैं।

word-Meanings: Happy (हैपि) – glad, खुश। Play (प्ले) – do something for getting happiness, खेलना। Hardly (हार्डलि) – rarely, बहुत कम्। Laugh (लाफ़) – smiling with a loud Sound, हँसना।।

2. I have a tree, a green, green tree,
To shade me from the sun;
And under it I often sit,
When all my play is done.

मेरे घर के पास एक हरा-भरा पेड़ है।
यह मुझे धूप से बचाता है;
जब मेरा खेलना खत्म हो जाता है,
तब में अक्सर इस पेड़ के नीचे बैठती हैं।

Word-Meaning: Shade (शेड)–To protect from the heat and light of the sun, सूर्य । की गरमी या धूप से बचाना। Sun (सन)-the star that shines during the daytime, सूर्य। Under (अंडर)–below, नीचे। Done (डन)-finished, खत्म।
